  Lovely and Planning to Return

  My mom and I stayed in October 2025, just barely missing the hurricane, and we are already talking about returning. It is located about 15 minutes east of Cabo San Lucas and a shuttle will take you into the city center. If you have a car or want to Uber, there is a supermarket, Freska, nearby. We would give this property 5 stars if it weren't for the challenges for people with limited mobility, like my mom. There are stairs everywhere, even if just one or two. The ramps for wheelchairs are skinny and short. Thankfully, we were able to get a room that my mom could navigate. The property is beautiful and sprawling, and employs staff to help you get to and from your room in golf carts. We especially appreciated Oliver Carrillo, who always brough positive energy and helpful knowledge about the area. He was also a great help in practicing Spanish. Overall, we noticed that the staff were ALL sincerely happy. Honestly, it was a little odd. Everyone had a smile, and it wasn't the forced happy greeting you get at some resorts. Seriously- everyone was happy. LOL The rooms were nice. We originally were placed in a 2-bedroom, 3 bath, ground floor unit with a garden view in building 15, located right. next. to. the children's pool. If we had children, that might have been the perfect location, but my mom did not appreciate the constant noise. The room itself was large with comfortable beds. Shower water pressure and hot water temperature were perfect. I loved the retractable clothesline in the shower! It was perfect and necessary to dry swimsuits. This unit was a bit dated and living room furniture was uncomfortable, but we understood that a renovation is planned. A couple days into our stay, the 2-bedroom with ocean view we had originally requested became available, and Oliver happily helped us move. The partial ocean view in building 6 was perfect. I didn't even have to get out of bed to see the water. Our balcony also overlooked a garden area that had an incredible number of butterflies. So many! My mom also enjoyed watching a bird nesting in one of the trees. Both kitchens were spacious and provided the utensils and dishes necessary for cooking a meal - stovetop, countertop mini-oven, and microwave. We shopped at Freska and ate in most days. We enjoyed the infinity pool, and my mom participated in many of the activity center's offerings, from exercise to crafts to cooking. The beach was closed for about half of our trip because of the unsafe current and waves caused by the back to back hurricane and tropical storm. We walked briefly on the beach to get photos, but the wind and water weren't calm enough to enjoy the beach. We are already talking visiting again next fall and hope that we can find availability through RCI.

  Destress your vacation

  HDM is a great timeshare with great rooms and excellent service. Our bellboy Arturo Paredes was always there to help us with all of our needs.He gave us excellent advise on where to eat and what sights that Cabo had to offer. He was very knowledgeable on the services that HDM had to offer. The rooms and grounds were very clean and kept up. Transportation to and from the airport was effortless through Transcabo. I would highly recommend that you take t he time to come and destress in this wonderful paradise.

  Enjoyment and Experiences in a New Place

  Great service, accommodations. Beautiful grounds. Entertainment was really fun and colorful. The bell staff were great especially Jonathan Godinez, who was helpful, friendly and gracious.
