Do not stay here!
Do not stay here-should have listened to another reviewer. Hotel extremely run down, very outdated, empty rooms and restaurants. The room smelled and we were in the nicest area of the hotel. Crazy they can charge this much $$ for this hotel. We checked out same day- we checked in.

Sheraton Maui - sadly not up to The Sheraton standard
Being a lifetime gold Marriott (previously SPG) member I have stayed at many Sheratons in my life and thoroughly enjoyed every stay until this time. The management need to be flown to another Pacific Island Sheraton, e.g: Fiji, to show how it should be done. All the staff were wonderful and friendly, always happy to assist! Double rooms were spacious and very clean with minimal coffee making equipment (no pod machines), no tea bags and no mini bar (fridge was in the room). Included daily breakfast was for 2 people per room, so if the kids joined us we had to pay for their breakfast. No barista service provided, even if you wanted to pay extra for a good cuppa. I was told I could go upstairs to the Barista and order and pay for a coffee if I wished. Only trouble was the Barista closed at 11am in the mornings. Restaurants were just okay, nothing to really rave about. Teppanyaki Dan's was enjoyable and fun, nice menu. Cliff Dive Grill isn't very aptly named. There was one non-veg grilled plate on the menu that didn't have carbs served up with it and you were provided with plastic cutlery and glassware. The Sheraton has a daily "resort" fee per room which covers you for all extra amenities ...... Just such a shame there weren't many extra amenities to enjoy. One had to pay for tents or cabanas to be around the pool out of the sun. There were a minimal number of umbrellas to provide shade. Such a shame. I was giving them the excuse that maybe they hadn't got past the terrible fires or CoVid19 but another person said she and hubby had stayed there in 2015 and also were not impressed.

Great beach
Took the family for vacation. The rooms are in serious need of updating but the views and the beach are outstanding. So nice to have a lanai to enjoy your morning coffee on. Housekeeping was great and staff was very helpful as what to do and where to eat.

Lovely hotel
We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable room. Nice pool and gardens. On the beach. Good bars and restaurants. The staff were all great except for the male receptionist who checked us in when we arrived (he wasn’t very welcoming, seemed a bit grumpy). WARNING: As british travellers we found Hawaii incredibly expensive. Resort fees, parking fees, expensive restaurants and an expectation of 20% tips!

Go elsewhere
Really outdated and run down; gross, stained carpet and undistinguished smell. But, hey - they offered to upgrade my room for an additional $500 per night. For the cost (over $600/night including fees), I would expect a clean room. The Hilton in Honolulu was old, but you would never know it because they put money into renovations and it was so clean. The people who gave this place a good review need higher standards. So disappointed in this place.
