As a seasoned travelers, my husband recently retired from flying with Delta Airlines. I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel and eager to return. Everything—from the room and the hotel's location to the food, pools, boardwalk, and customer service—deserved five stars. Whether you're single, a couple, or with family, don't hesitate to book this hotel. Five Stars!

Perfect Quick Tropical Getaway
Had a fantastic stay here at the Sheraton, that we even left early from our next hotel we booked in order to come back! Amazing grounds, beach, rooms, and pool. We had ocean view rooms and they were some of the best hotel views I have ever had. The Elite breakfast was great, it consisted of yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, banana bread, and a small pastry. The location was perfect, we drove to Whalers Village but you can definitely walk if you wanted to!

Another great stay at the Sheraton Maui.
Once again we had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Maui. We have been coming here since 1991. We love everything about this hotel. The location is the best in Hawaii, the room had incredible view and the staff is so welcoming. We would especially like to thank Anjelica for her assistance. Hopefully we will be back next year.

An Amazing Resort!
We stayed here last fall as a couple, rated it 4 Bubbles due to room door lock problem. We returned again in late July as a family group and this time it was a 5 Bubble experience. An amazing resort with incredible views, gorgeous landscaping, wonderful service, and plenty of activities. Our family stayed in four rooms in the Hale Moana building which is where we also stayed last time. This time around we knew how to get from that building over to the main area of the resort. Yes, you do have to take certain hallways and elevators, but frankly, we appreciated the exercise. Once you get the hang of it, it really doesn't take that long (we preferred to use a combination of stairwells and elevator). The Moana building is unique because it is right above the ocean. From our room, we could view Lanai and Molokai, plus the Black Rock area. Gorgeous sights! We find this building quieter than other areas of the hotel. There is also a smaller designated parking lot which we really appreciated. Most days, we rented two casabellas by the pool which our family found handy. Each casabella had two lounge chairs. There seemed to be enough pool chairs for people who didn't want to pay extra $ for these, so it's not a necessity, but it does give you more privacy and you don't have to spend time looking for a chair(s). The staff at the towel/chair rental area were really great. Friendly and set up the casabellas with plenty of towels. The pool is phenomenal and the landscaping is beautiful! Our group called it a "river" because it winds around in different sections. A big hit especially with the kids, but the adults loved it, too. A mermaid named Aqua came to the pool on a Fri morning and delighted all the kids---and adults! She was really sweet with the kids and let them ask questions and have pics taken. We don't know if she is an actual hotel employee or maybe someone who contracts with them to come weekly? Our check-in went smoothly and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We received shell necklaces and water bottles, too. Last fall those water bottles had the hotel name plus a map of the Hawaiian Islands on them but this time they were just plain bottles with no words or design. Not a big complaint at all, but we did miss the other type. Our group had breakfast each morning at the Coral Reef. You can order ala carte or go to the fabulous, bountiful buffet (which we did). Most mornings we had a server named Mireya who was one of the best servers we have ever encountered on our various travels. She was great with the kids and thought of everything as far as our needs during the meal. Her smile, friendliness, helpfulness, and efficiency made each and every breakfast a true delight. A shout-out to our room's housekeeper, too! Pauline was phenomenal...the room was cleaned daily (spotless!) and towels and other supplies were always replenished as needed. We had no issues with our room locks this time, always worked. Your room lock is actually a waterproof bracelet (perfect for pool and ocean) that you wear. A great idea and novel way to unlock your door. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and service of the Sheraton Maui and we are all looking forward to returning here again!
