Exclusively for Sonesta Ocean Point Resort guests, Portofino is open for dinner only with an à la carte, five course menu.
  • The Palms Beach Grill, Restaurant + Bar

    Located near the beach offering casual, al fresco dining with Caribbean grill specialties for lunch. In the evening, the Lava Rock offers a unique dinner experience serving fresh ingredients that’s cooked right at your table.   • La Fontana Restaurant
    Open for dinner, this casual chic dining experience offers an intimate atmosphere, attentive service and an al fresco patio with stunning ocean views. Located on via Maho, just after Pizzeria Napoli, The Point sits at the heart of the lively piazza near the famous gazebo that overlooks Maho Bay making it a popular meeting point for sunset lovers sipping on an aperitivo before dinner. The à la carte menu features Italian specialties.
  • Maho Café
    This charming and convenient all-day Maho Café located in the lobby offers an array of morning and afternoon pick-me-ups including herbal teas, coffees, fresh pastries, and snacks including hot and cold sandwiches.
  • Ocean Terrace Restaurant

    Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Ocean Terrace offers a wide variety of buffet items including hot and cold dishes, soups, fresh fruits and salads, a made-to-order omelet station as well as culinary theme nights throughout the week. Guests can dine al fresco on the large outdoor terrace or inside the air-conditioned restaurant.

  • Pizzeria Napoli

    Offers handcrafted, made-to-order pizza slices hot from a traditional pizza oven served with fresh ingredients. Napoli is located on via Maho next to Ocean Terrace and serves throughout the day satisfying even those mid-day and late-night cravings.

    Not what I expected

    We celebrated our 30 year anniversary here in September. I fully understand it’s a slow time on the island, but almost everything about our stay was disappointing. I did love our room and our view, but we could have gotten that for half the price someplace else. The service wasn’t stellar. 90% of the staff we encountered were on their phones and didn’t seem very interested in offering assistance or even a smile. The food was average at best. The drinks all have premade syrupy mixers, no craft cocktails to be found. On the night of our anniversary, we got dressed and were excited about the Italian restaurant. When we walked down there, we found they decided to close it due to low attendance at the resort (even though it was scheduled to be open). In addition, the activities were very sporadic, and that’s the main reason I decided to stay at this resort. I thought both resorts would have ongoing activities all day and that just wasn’t the case. We ended up leaving the resort to do other activities. I’m so glad we moved to the French side for the second half of our trip. We got to explore and eat at some really great places! If you don’t love just sitting at the pool, you might wanna consider another hotel.

    Sharon is amazing!!

    I cannot say enough great things about Sharon! She was truly the highlight of our stay at this resort. From the moment we met her, she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and cared for. Sharon was extremely helpful, friendly, and genuinely kind. She took the time to recommend the best restaurants on the resort (which turned out to be amazing!) and even suggested great spots to visit outside of the property. To be honest, we weren’t having the best time here at first—but meeting Sharon completely changed our experience. She turned our trip around with her warmth, attentiveness, and local knowledge. She is truly an asset to this resort and made all the difference in our stay. Sharon is absolutely amazing, and because of her, we’ll remember this trip in such a positive light. Thank you, Sharon!

    Don’t stay here! Service is horrible

    If you want to pay top dollar and be treated like they are doing you a favor for being here this is the place. Paid over $1000 to upgrade to the adults only side! Went to the restaurant BLUE FIN today and the lady cook was the worst! Like so bad I’m writing the review while here! The waiters never came to the table. They told us we had to sit and be served, no one ever came. My friend went to place the order the “cook” got smart again after waiting over 20 minutes. We watched another table, not get served. This is literally the SLOW/low season and you would think the staffers would at least be more attentive. Please do yourself a favor and pick one of the other resorts on the island as the service may be a lot better than this! Gave us food, we waited another 10 minutes on a fork to eat with. I’m extremely disappointed as I had higher expectations of this resort.

    Sonesta Ocean Point AI great value

    The resort is set on Maho beach and the views are breathtaking. Our favorite part of our stay was Sheryl, the bartender at OneZero skydeck pool bar. She was the best! She had the best personality and made our trip. She felt like an old friend by the time we left!!
