  10/10 pointa! Everything was Perfect! Fod was fresh and tasty. Room was clean. The best was entertaiment team! Nice pools.

  Family get together From Canada and England

  Just came back! We were a family traveling from Canada and England hoping to create good memories…and that we did! I hope the Hyatt Corporation does take time to review all the reviews that are sent. The positive A call out to Richard and the staff at the Sports bar…GO! Jays Go!…great service. A call out to Nicholas at Sharky’s …bar at the water slides…great service. Entertainment…Excellent! Spa… Professional service! Coco Cafe…perfect! Things to be aware of. The resort is still under reno…so not all rooms have been renovated. Windows…the buffet…sometimes there is a line up to get in. Booking restaurants reservations is so frustrating. The APP system isn’t working!! It’s not the poor staffs faults it’s the system! Concierges are not helpful and are quite miserable. This resort has so much potential but it’s not there yet!

  Lovely stay, could be slightly improved

  We have just returned from 10 days at this hotel and had a lovely holiday. There were definitely pros and cons to our stay but overall very good. To start with the pros, the hospitality staff were amazing, particularly Carlos in kaleidescope restaurant, who made us feel so welcomed every time he saw us and looked after us, as well as Martin. Nicholas at sharkys bar was also very kind to us every day. The entertainment was fantastic and as a first experience of using a kids club, we were very impressed. The spa was lovely and the treatments were fabulous. There was no shortage of pools, so much variety and always something going on. Again, with the food, so much variety and we enjoyed every meal. As for the cons, the room we had was very dated and smelled of damp or mould and was just very much in need of a revamp. We seemed to be on the boundary of the hotel, with what I assume was a bar just the other side. Every late afternoon/early evening, the music was absolutely blaring from this bar and it was very frustrating to not be able to have a bit of quiet time after a long day, before dinner, and would still be going when we came back to our room for bed. I should have spoken to reception and asked for our room to be changed, however by this time, it felt too much of an upheaval to move all our belongings. They use an app for booking restaurants, which does not work well enough. We continuously struggled witb bookings through the app. The opening days would change constantly so we never knew which days which restaurants were actually open. We were told the app was open for bookings at 9am but we couldn't get it to work. When we called for help we were told to wait till 10 past... It's either open at 9am or not until 9.10??? Also our bookings that showed in the app were constantly wrong and not the actual bookings we had. We asked concierge for help and they just refused and told us to use the app, same with reception. We wanted to know if the teppinyaki was going to be open on our last night (I wasn't asking for them to book anything for me, just whether it was open that day) and again concierge wouldn't help and reception couldn't tell me. I don't understand how both these front facing, 'help' services, could be so blatantly unhelpful. Another day we booked a Bali bed on the beach, again through the app, and it just said pending. The day we were due to go we went to reception to find out who we go to, we got sent to concierge, who sent us to the spa, who then took us to the kids club.... No one knew anything about the beds so we just missed out. My final issue with the app was that the entertainment was never fully updated on the app. The evening entertainment was every night however the app only showed what was on every few days and the day schedules/kids clubs were never adjusted. As above, our overall stay was lovely, I just wish the customer service was alot better, the app improved and the older rooms updated.

  My experience at Sunscape

  Bolivar at reception and David the bellboy were excellent. Very kind and helpful. all of the bill boys were extremely helpful. Bolivar always went above and beyond.

  ROSA . The best receptionist In punta Cana

  Arrived at sunscape, having been to punta Cana several times. And definitely wasn’t disappointed! Hotel was stunning and location couldn’t have been better! Our holiday in paradise started with meeting the wonderful Rosa in reception who to be honest made our holiday even more memorable as her service was incredible and put us in a room that simply blew us away, incredible sea views, just off the beach and every time we saw Rosa, she was so happy and went out her way to acknowledge us and say hello. Bravo Rosa you have made friends for life and given us an incredible experience. We will be back.
