Poor management decisions to overload property with non hotel guests
We like the property. They sold a bunch of day passes to the local community to use the pool and facilities over a holiday weeked. Lines at the bar were 5 to 6 people deep, ran out of towels, serves were overwhelmed, over the Labor Day weekend. Very difficult for the staff to keep up. We paid a high price to have exclusivity. We will not be going back to the property.

A day at the great Don
Amazing hotel on the beach and awesome staff. I was greeted with a glass of champagne on checking in, granted 1 hour late checkout . Food at the restaurant was excellent and the service was better. Everything you need in the lower lobby: from food to regular shopping. My room was very clean and with a lot space. To enter the room , your key is a wrist band, such original idea as you won’t need to worry about your access card going to the pool.

Don Cesar doesn't want local visitors
HORRIBLE !! Will NEVER visit again. On Labor Day thought I'd drive up, visit it for maybe an hour, get a wine, enjoy it's 'famous Gulf views' ! I've never seen it. I live in St Pete. ISSUES: 1) NO public parking nearby 2) I asked the hotel's guest parking, the ONLY parking on the property, how much it costs if I was here for 1 hour? Answer: it's a flat $41.50 regardless of the time ! I was not able to visit it's 'famous restaurant, bars with a Gulf view' CLEARLY, Don Cesar doesn't want local visitors/tourists. No wonder businesses on Treasure Island are struggling... This isn't Miami Beach. Don't patronize this greedy bizz !

Best place
This place is amazing... The staff was great. I love that you can walk right to the beach from the hotel. You really don't have to leave the hotel, they have all you need inside.

Great hotel, terrible service.
The hotel was beautiful and absolutely breathtaking. The booking process was awful. I booked a room on the hotel’s website and was informed that the resort fee was part of the booking price. I was informed that the valet parking was $28.00/night. When I reviewed the invoice after the first day I noticed a resort fee of $30.00/day and the parking was $38.00/night. When I went to the front desk to ask about the charges, I was told if I can show the confirmation with the fee included, and the $28.00 parking fee, they would honor it. I told the representative at the desk I never got the confirmation. I took a picture of the confirmation number when I booked and literally called three times asking them to send the confirmation to my email address. All three times they confirmed my email address and said they would send it but they never did. The representative said she heard that complaint several times. I feel they should have honored the waiver and adjusted the parking fee, but they did not. This left me thinking they did this intentionally so they could tack a few extra bucks onto my bill. The second day of my stay, housekeeping never came to our room. When I brought this up to the representative behind the desk, she said they don’t always come every day; they usually do the rooms every other day. I asked for new towels and she said she would call housekeeping and have them sent to our room. We returned from dinner three hours later and there were no towels. We went back to the front desk and told them. They said they would get the towels to our room shortly. Three hours later we returned to our room and the new towels were there but they never took the old towels away; which we had piled in front of the bathroom floor. We upgraded our room at a cost of an additional $100.00/night. For the cost of our stay, it was very disappointing to have been treated in this manner.
