May 21, 2025Loved the Five Beach Hotel
We have just been for a 10 day stay at the Five Beach Hotel. We have been to many hotels in Mexico over the years which have been good, but I can honeslty say the staff and service at this hotel was brilliant in comparison! This was a slightly smaller hotel then precious ones, but we much perferred it as the food was much better quality and the service was fantastic. The staff really made this holiday. Thank you Five Beach! We look forward to staying again.

Best Plan B ever!
We were originally supposed to stay at Bahia Principe but had to change plans last minute due to renovations. At first, we were a little nervous—we didn’t have much time to research—but in the end, it felt like a blessing in disguise! From the moment we arrived, our experience was fantastic. We'd seen reviews mentioning long queues for the restaurants, but we never had an issue. We got into every restaurant we wanted without a problem. While some restaurants had better service than others, the food across the board was great. The Italian and Mexican restaurants, in particular, were outstanding—the service was exceptional, exactly what you’d expect from a high-end establishment. Thai was decent, though the sushi and Sea Olive restaurants could have been more attentive. Special shout-out to Sam at the Italian restaurant and Rolando in mexican —they were absolutely brilliant! For lunch, the burger bars, Mexican fusion, and the pizza place by the beach were excellent. If you're after something healthier, Lizards was fantastic—the chicken skewers and chicken and avocado salad were spot on. One thing to note: if you like to have snacks on hand, you’ll need to bring your own or visit a supermarket. The hotel shop was outrageously expensive—$40 for two packs of Doritos and a couple of Snickers bars! The entertainment team truly made our holiday. They were amazing with our children—Edison went out of his way to engage our teenager, playing games with him daily for the whole two weeks, making him feel really special. Monse was absolutely lovely with our youngest, and the whole team were fantastic, but these two went above and beyond. Now, the drinks—I was so impressed! The selection was top-tier, and the cocktails were expertly made, nothing like the syrupy mixes you often get at all-inclusive resorts. The adults-only bar even gave us a tequila talk, and while I missed the name of the bartender (tall guy!), his margarita was absolute perfection. Lizards Bar and Palmas Bar were also outstanding. The staff rotate between bars weekly, and we loved them so much that we actually started switching pools just to follow them! Massive shout-out to Freddie, Hector, and Raul—you guys made our holiday so special. You welcomed us warmly every day and made such a fuss over the kids. Thank you! The resort facilities were brilliant. The cenote walk and wildlife were breathtaking, and the beach was stunning. I walked quite far along the shore, and I can confidently say that Fives has one of the best stretches of beach on that coastline. Some days there was seaweed, but the resort cleaned it up efficiently, so we could still swim. Other resorts didn’t maintain their beachfront as well, and the smell as you walked past was awful—I was so glad we were at Fives! The whole resort was immaculate, and our room was kept spotless. The cleaning team were brilliant—special mention to Anna Cristina, who looked after our room so well. Sure, there were a few minor signs of wear and tear here and there, but nothing that would spoil your holiday. In fact, we often saw maintenance teams tweaking things, so it’s clearly something the resort keeps on top of. Fives, thank you for an incredible experience—I’d recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat!

10/10 visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Fives could not have been a more perfect holiday resort. The place was huge and lots of different options for pools, dinner & bars. There were shuttles would take you around if you did not want to walk in the heat. The highlight of our stay was definitely the food. The all inclusive was made up of lots of different restaurants. Mexican, French, Thai, Italian and lots more! No booking required apart from 1 restaurant but we had no problems booking just a couple days in advance. The staff were so attentive and accommodating to everything from the waiters, bell boys, reception & maids. The evening entertainment was good, our favourites being casino night & the silent disco. Lots of activities to do during the day. Our favourite was the Mexican brunch with a bbq and live singers. 10/10 and will definitely be returning soon hopefully!

Best holiday we’ve been on and it’s not even close!
Just got back today from a 9 night stay and both me and my partner had the most incredible time here. From the staff service to the quality of food to all the amenities, this place is just top tier. This really is a paradise and by far the best holiday we’ve been on. The staff are the most friendly and attentive we’ve come across and they do everything possible to ensure you have the best stay. We spent most days round by the infinity pool with the beautiful beach you have complete access to as well. All food options and drinks were excellent, genuinely have nothing bad to say about this place! Strong recommendations: The tacos up at the back of the infinity pool are amazing, had these pretty much everyday. Also there was a Mexican style party on Saturday with entertainment and the most incredible bbq food. Our favourite restaurants were the Thai and the Mexican but all very nice. Thank you so much, we will certainly be returning in the future, there’s no doubt about that!!
