Sep 03, 2025Exceptional St Kitts and Nevis destination.
We have stayed at The Hamilton more than 15 times since the end of COVID. It is excellent! On the best beach in St Kitts and Nevis, safe swimming and a great beach bar (the Yachtsman) 2 minutes walk away. After travelling to over 100 countries in my life The Hamilton (and Nevis), is the only one I go back too.

The Hamilton is a nice place to visit for large groups. We stayed in a 3 BR villa and it was clean with high ceilings, a full kitchen, dining room, 4 baths, and 4 verandas overlooking the beach. The facade of the condos needs repair. It appears dirty and grimy in areas. The grounds are not well lit. Our villa stairway was dark and dirty from bird droppings . The beach is very nice and within walking distance to Barefoot Beach Bar which serves amazing food and drinks. The Yachtsman Grill at Hamilton is acceptable. There is a public beach area next door which can get loud in the evening. Overall O.K. experience. I the management can do better.

Great views
Our stay at Hamilton Beach Villa & Spa was overall a great experience with a few hiccups along the way. The check-in process was smooth and friendly. We arrived during Culturama, which we were really looking forward to, and it added a lively energy to the trip. The villa itself was wonderful—spacious, with stunning views, and it honestly felt like we had the place to ourselves, which was a huge plus. The only downside was that our villa was on the 3rd floor, and since I was in a boot, the lack of an elevator made the daily stair climbs… let’s just say less than thrilling...lol! 😆 Housekeeping was supposed to come every other day, but we only saw them once during our 5-day stay. Not a huge deal—we’re pretty easygoing—so all we really needed were fresh towels and trash bags. The water pressure in the shower was very low (though the sinks had much better pressure). On our second day, my mother-in-law woke up to water under her bed, stretching toward her bathroom. We never did figure out where it came from. My husband let the front desk know, but no one came to check it out, so we just put down towels and cleaned it ourselves. On a positive note, we had dinner and cocktails at Yachtsman Grill (on the property), and both the food and drinks were fantastic. Since my birthday was on August 7th, I mentioned it to the staff, and they surprised me by singing "Happy Birthday" and bringing a dessert—such a sweet touch. 🍨 What I loved most was the exclusivity and peacefulness of the stay. Despite the minor inconveniences, I would definitely come back and stay in the flat.😆

Highly Recommend This Unpretentious Gem!
We LOVED this place! It was our 1st time visiting Nevis and we chose this hotel for its villas and restaurant, Yachtsman Grill. The villa was on the ground level, just off the pool. It was a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath, with modern kitchen and a very comfy vibe. We spent every day on the beach, had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Service was exceptional! The food was very good, especially the lobster pizza with all the seafoods.

Beautiful villas steps away from the beach.
Beautiful villas. Very nice pool with lounge chairs and little tables. Clean. Good housekeeping. Just steps away from a beautiful big beach. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. And a great restaurant right on the beach, The Yachtman’s Grill. We stayed on a villa right across the pool. Two bedrooms and bathroom. Super comfortable mattresses and pillows. Modern, spacious, safe, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, big refrigerator. Utensils, pots and pans, dishes, glasses. Washer and dryer. You need a car to get around to go to other restaurants in the area. The Port to take the water taxi to go to St Kitts its 10 minutes away, driving distance. Didn’t go to the Beach Club presentation that they offered.
