    Excellent!

Beautiful resort! We strayed here for 4 nights during our visit to Hawaii and it did not disappoint. Breathtaking property and spectacular service. The family pool was a bit small and got to be a bit of a mess as the day went on but that was mostly because parents weren't paying attention to their kids. Highly recommend!

    Wonderful stay, GO!

An incredible hotel with superb location and excellent service! This is hands down the best place to stay in the north shore. The location is beautiful, the beach is great, and they have awesome amenities. Our almost 4 year old loved his time here (standouts were water slide, loaner beach toys, bike ride in toddler trailer to visit horses, and ukulele lesson). We all loved the beauty around the hotel, the really good hotel food, and above and beyond service (huge thanks to Lee for making our stay not just special but extraordinary). Yes, it’s an expensive stay, but well worth it! We all can’t wait to return!!

    Beautiful hotel!

We came for our babymoon and loved our stay! The staff was great and the room was beautiful. We had a stunning view of the sunset from our room every night. We saw turtles in the water at the beach and ate dinner at the pool restaurant every night. The only negative is we didn't love the cafe; you are better off driving about 10 minutes off the property for better options for lattes, matcha, acai bowls, and other breakfast options. The North Shore in general is kind of limited in food options, but we did a lot of hiking and really liked the proximity of the hotel to all the activities we wanted to do.

    Ocean Bungalow Is Awesome

We’ve been to Maui, the Big Island, Kaui and Honolulu many times but never explored the North Shore of O’ahu. When we saw that the resort in Turtle Bay was a Ritz-Carlton, we decided to use our Marriott Bonvoy points for a 9-day vacation to celebrate our anniversary and booked an Ocean Front Club suite with Club lounge access. Two weeks before arriving, I received emails from Turtle Bay’s guest relations representatives, outlining the various activities, restaurants, and nearby experiences. They also asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, any allergies, and any special requests. Our one request was to have an ocean facing balcony to view the sunsets. When we arrived at Reception, Michelle and Tearza told us about our assigned ocean facing suite would get sunrises. We asked about other room options, and they told us about the Ocean Bungalows and arranged for Nathan, the Bungalow Manager, to give us a tour of the Bungalow and surrounding grounds. We also looked at our assigned suite and quickly made the decision to upgrade to the Ocean Bungalow. It was the perfect location! Every evening, we watched the beautiful O’ahu sunsets on the beach right outside our private lanai enjoying a glass of wine and watching the surfers. We were welcomed with a fruit and cheese platter on arrival at our Bungalow. On our anniversary, we found a bottle of champagne and note waiting for us in our suite. Other useful items in our suite were the large green tote bag and metal water bottles. The Bungalow guests had a special wristband that gave us access to our room, the bridge gate to the resort pools/buildings, and to the gated complimentary parking lot next to the Bungalows. Instead of paying $45/day for valet parking, the parking fee was waived. We enjoyed an afternoon at the quiet Bungalow pool and Jon, the pool & bar guy moved umbrellas to give us shade and comped us margaritas for our anniversary. Club Lounge access is definitely worth it. We ate breakfast and enjoyed the different small bite appetizer dishes for dinner each day. We also accessed the Club Lounge during the day to pick up snacks and the yummy individually wrapped pineapple gummies. Deeann, the Club Lounge receptionist, knew our names and welcomed us everyday for breakfast. Overall, the Ritz-Carlton O’hau Turtle Bay is a beautiful and well-maintained resort. The service was exceptional, and we really enjoyed our anniversary vacation in the Ocean Bungalow.
