Even Better Than I Thought
My wife and I just stayed in an overwater bungalow for 5 nights. We were impressed by every single aspect of this resort. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, and will accommodate almost any request. But they are not stuffy or overbearing - it was the perfect level of service but also respect for a couple’s conversation and privacy. The resort is huge, so even though there are no roads to the resort or anywhere else to go, there is plenty of room to walk or bike. It is a solid 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants from the bungalows on the end of the platform, which was perfect for us. The lagoon they have is amazing for snorkeling - we rode our bikes there and snorkeled almost every day. It’s like being in an aquarium. The lagoon at the St Regis was a differentiator for us when picking a Bora Bora resort. The food was excellent too. Good quality and not too fancy. Maybe slightly more expensive than nice resorts in Hawaii. We used Pacific for Less to plan and book our trip and they took care of every detail. I highly recommend this resort and using a travel agent like Pacific for Less to have a seamless experience and as good of pricing as you can get so you can relax and enjoy Bora Bora. It is even more amazing than we expected. Must do - book a snorkel excursion that includes a stop at the coral garden (most of them do). This was an afterthought on our sharks and rays excursion but was the highlight of the trip. Best coral and snorkeling we have ever done.

A bucket list trip that exceeded expectations
My wife and I had wanted to visit the St. Regis for decades. It was a bonus when we found out that it was the location of one of our favorite movies, Couples Retreat. We didn’t really know what to expect, but it’s even better than we had hoped. The staff were all amazing and consistently went out of their way to make our stay unique and special. The scenery is incredible. The weather for us could not have been better. We were there 5 and 1/2 full days and the temperature only fluctuated between 82 and 83 degrees, day or night. Humidity was low, it only rained briefly on two of the days. If you’re looking for a Cabo San Lucas style party resort this is probably not the place for you. If you’re looking to relax and get pampered in one of the most beautiful island resorts, where you feel like you almost have the place to yourself, then you will have a great time. Only down sides I suppose are that if you do decide to indulge in cocktails, while they are pretty spectacular, they are very expensive, even by resort standards. Fortunately we paid for the food package through Costco so we could eat well without looking at the prices on the menu. We didn’t want to leave, and we are already trying to figure out when we will be able to return.

Paradise!
Took a 6-day family trip to Bora Bora, 4 adults and 2 grandkids. Sailed, snorkeled, jet skied and had general fun relaxing time. The planning can be quite time consuming, and a few fine details can be easily overlooked. Used Pacific for Less staff for all the planning help. The St. Regis is a special place in paradise, special thanks to Tessa and Florina, can't say enough.

Beautiful resort with a large price!
St Regis Bora Bora was a beautiful resort. Here are the pros and cons. Overwater bungalows are beautiful. Resort has nice beaches with lots of beach stuff provided. Here are the negatives, after paying 15,000 Us for 2 bungalows for 2 nights you would think hotel transfer from the airport would be free but it was 720 US dollars for 4 people?? Food is very expensive. Dinner for 4 was $800.00, hamburgers $45.00?? Breakfast provided was suboptimal. It is a beautiful place, just know it comes with a big price!

StR Bora Bora is dreamy
Wife and I returned from a 5 night stay at the St Regis. It was one of the most relaxing and fun trips we have done. The hotel contacted us pre-arrival to ask us about our details and provided a link with excursions, spa and restaurant menus. As others mentioned, they have a booth at the Bora Bora airport and came over to find us when we arrived on our flight from Moorea. We were promptly taken by their shuttle to the St Regis. We had beautiful sunny weather for end of May so the waters were truly aquamarine. Saw turtles during our ride. Upon arrival, our butler, Josh was there to greet us. He escorted us to the front desk to check. As a Titanium member, I was offered and accept the breakfast buffet every morning. As we arrived closer to 5pm, our OWB was ready. Josh then gave us a tour of the resort, confirmed our dinner/spa and activities and noted our morning coffee routine and showed us our villa. When we arrived at our villa, I was surprised how well laid out it was. We had a nice welcome gift inside our villa. Our room was in good shape, a few nicks on the wood but otherwise everything looked great. The deck was huge with lounge chairs and a table with chairs under a canopy. We had coffee every morning on the deck to enjoy the sunrise. The breakfast buffet was our favorite meal of the day. Lots of options (poached eggs and avocado toast was my go to) and the staff there were top notch. As we were there for 5 nights, we got to try all the restaurants. We enjoyed the Polynesian evening which was a buffet. Farniente the Italian restaurant was just fine. Lagoon is the high end restaurant which we enjoyed. Bamboo was also just fine. Mix of Asian dishes, didn't enjoy the rolls. Grill night was probably our fav dinner night. Since we live in NYC, it is difficult to impress us with Italian or Asian food. As for service, everyone greets you with a smile. The "Beach boys" took care of us at the pool and the beach, bringing water and helping us with our lunch order. Whenever we saw our butler, Josh, he would come over to check on us. We also did a couples massage at the Spa. This was wonderful and the spas amenities are wonderful. Around the spa is the Lagoonarium which is filled with beautiful fish. Feels like you are swimming in a large aquarium. There is a huge Napoleon fish that will swim up to you to say Hi. On our departure day, the hotel sends an email confirming your flight and when you should leave for check-out as they will have the boat ready to take you to the airport. It was quite seamless. My only complaint was that the wifi was either slow or my phone would drop off. Of course my wife said this was a good thing! Otherwise, my wife and I had a wonderful time and look forward to returning.
