Good but not great
Keep in mind I’ve stayed at many nice hotels around the world, including ritz, four seasons, st. Regis, etc. If you’re used to staying in Hampton inns, this will feel like a really nice hotel. I’ll look at it through a more critical lens, based on my experiences… The main lobby/foyer isn’t as grand as many other hotels in its price range. Lower ceilings. Immediately feels closer to a nicer Hampton inn than to a luxury beachfront resort. The multiple front desks are situated right in the middle of the flow of traffic in the lobby and makes it feel crowded and like a traffic jam. Little things like no soft close lids on toilets, A/C never really getting as cold and not humid as you want it to. “Private resort” sign to the left of the bar at the pool very faded with missing letters, etc. Plastic awnings over rear floors visibly dirty in need of pressure washing. Again, lots of little things that separate 4 star from 5 star. Staff is EXCELLENT, very friendly, attentive, make you feel like royalty. EXCELLENT location. Average value in a noticeably aging property probably on the cusp of a maintenance and aesthetic facelift.

Thomas and the westin staff
This was our first time to grand caymen so we didn't really know what to expect. But the crew at the westin were incredibly helpful. We (my wife) always does a lot of homework prior to our trips, but inevitably, there are always places that we are unsure about. The doormen, especially Thomas, were not only helpful, but seemed genuinely happy to help us. The beaches were clean, the breakfast was delicious and the drinks were cold. Not much else we could ask for.

Relaxing, yet polished.
From the moment I arrived at The Westin Grand Cayman, I was truly impressed. Every staff member I encountered was helpful, accommodating, and genuinely kind. Their warm smiles and engaging attitudes made all the difference — it felt like everyone truly cared about creating a great guest experience. The atmosphere was relaxed yet polished, and the service consistently exceeded expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grand Cayman.

Super nice place , the best beaches....very clean....Rooms were magnificient ! customer service outstanding..... Outdoor pool was nice, even had a bar in the water with seating....not overly crowed as most people went to the beach 150 feet away.
