  Great value for money, great food, fun activities but please fix your check-in processes.

  Apart from the very chaotic and time consuming checking process, we really enjoyed this property. We were a large group of about 15 persons and the staff was always friendly and accommodating to our needs. Rooms are very spacious with all the appliances you need for a long stay. Rooms are like small furnished appartements but with all the benefits of a hotel service. The rooms although a little bit outdated in terms of design, they are still very clean, nice and comfortable. Ours had a great view to the pools and beach. Facilities are well kept and very nice. Also there are plenty of activities included. Food overall was better than expected and we specially enjoyed the Mayan themed night. Also a great advantage of this property is its location right in front of the shopping mall and walking distance from so many good restaurants. Again with the exception of the horrible check-in experience for which I deducted 0.5 stars from my review, service everywhere was excellent. Overall I think you get great value for money at this hotel and would highly recommend it especially for long stays.

  Not for Elite members, ok for families.

  Stay: October 2025 This review is not for hotel staff, which were wonderful throughout. It's for Bonvoy management: This is a timeshare place. That should be made very clear on top of the webpage. Don't dress it up as a regular Westin hotel. All / any Elite perks are not honored here. There is a little disclaimer on the bottom that we read later, it's worthless and we felt deceived. I am Titanium Elite and had great experiences so far, but not here. NO early check in, not even 1,5 hours. Check out at 10 am! Ridiculous. (Hotel less than half full in October) No upgrade, while many better rooms were available online the day of. Only 1 restaurant, empty and I a weird location way over by the side near parking lot, Sports Bar food very average, spot is super noisy because it's all tile and concrete. Once again, staff is nice, pool and beach wonderful. Will never stay at any timeshare Westin again though.

  Smoker beware

  This resort has great pools and sand beach. Impressive turtle hatching sanctuary on the beach. Service was responsive and good. The one big drawback is the smoking area which has no benches chairs or shade and is next to the back door to the lobby. If you smoke this is not a good choice for a hotel.

  Family week

  The food selection and quality is the best. There are also several great restaurants right across the street at La Isle mall. The rooms were well kept. The pool and amenity spaces are good quality. We have been here several times and will continue to come back.

  Great location in Cancun

  Excellent location - right across from Isla Mall with plenty restaurants to choose from. Clean, well maintained facilities, turquoise beach, spacious rooms, pricey meals. (Take route 307 around hotel strip to avoid corrupt police laying in wait at Hotel Zone area.) Take picture and badge no, quote rule 241 and say you need to call Embassy if try to extort money. We had a great stay in Cancun otherwise.
