Had a great time. Nice resort. Beautiful beach. On site food was delicious. Beach chairs are new, comfortable, and nice. Breakfast Mary in the restaurant was awesome. Provided great service with a smile. What else can I say. We’ll be back soon one day.

Great service!
Brooke was a great server! She was very attentive and made sure we had the drink we were looking for promptly. We will definitely come back to the pool and resort another time. It has been a great start to our trip!! Tradewinds has been a great experience so far!

Jun 09, 2025Would not return because of staff besides bartenders and pool party workers
Besides a worker hitting my brother's rental car with a huge gator/golf cart and the resort doing nothing to help or take responsibility it was enjoyable. He was charged $4000 since 2 doors had to be replaced and is going to dispute it so hopefully won't have to pay but $500 deductible still it put a big damper on the vaca and we all tried many times talking to the front desk and different security staff, we should have made a police report right when it happened. We had 3 different families and booked together but we're placed all on different floors. Our favorite activities were the were the pool party's, 50ft waterslide and especially Aeden at Salty's tiki bar! Aeden put on the baseball games from our hometown Cleveland and made the best pina coloda and mudslides and suggested a great dive bar to stop at after he closed thank you I had a blast! They have one SERIOUS flaw, and it is a big one: This is a resort hotel in Florida and it has almost no shade whatsoever for people who want to be at the pools, etc. Yes, NO SHADE. You can rent a "cabana"...IF they have one (and if you don't mind another $200+ per day!). And if they do, the only 6 or so cabanas are right around the main pool, next to the CONSTANT music and kids activities. There are a few umbrellas...VERY few. 90% of all the lounge chairs are right in the flat out, unyielding sun! I live here in town, and stayed here because I had visiting family...and they absolutely were flipped out upset about showing up having rented a full suite, and discovering their entire first day had NO shade at all available. NONE. As a local Floridian, I, too, had to express disbelief: This is the 21st century, when we all *know* about the sun and actually pay attention to skin cancer!!!! There also were a few other issues: Many of the advertised amenities were not available (eg, the floating dock). The idiots who designed it put down dark stones and red bricks around the pool...and they were far too hot to walk on! Extremely slow elevators meant it could easily be 5 minutes every time you wanted an elevator. Loud humming noises from some equipment bothered us AND our family staying in the floor above. But even if the shade issue hadn't been so bad, I would have rated it only 3 stars.

Sam at the Flying Bridges was kind and great with my kids. Will be coming back for a day pass to enjoy the beach and great service! She made my daughter a sherley temple and my daughter said it was the the best one shed ever had! We are grateful to all of the friendly staff through out the property too!
