My review
It was an overall good stay and we had lots of fun zip lining . Although I was disappointed that I could not get my money back when we were unable to go on our excursions one day due to a family emergency back home that took most of that day to deal with . There should be exceptions for this kind of thing .

Yet another stay in paradise
We have visited the TRS Grand Palladium Yukatan around 12 times now and it never ceases to amaze. The resort itself is green jungle complete with various flora and fauna and the grounds are kept immaculate. They even have a tractor ploughing up the seaweed every morning. The rooms are a good size (obviously depending which one you have booked) my only criticisms are - the sink is an awful design, it splashes out on you and the floor, the lighting over the sink should be brighter to make it easier to shave and apply make-up and the dipping pool should have a lower step added to make it easier to get out, not everyone is a sprightly 30 years of age or 6 foot tall! Problems sorted out very quickly, we had an issue with the outside fly screen door handle that fell off but was fixed by the time we came back from the pool. I cannot sing the praises of the staff enough who go out their way to make your stay as wonderful as they can. Our butlers Angel & Ramon were great making all our dinner reservations, cart ordering and general daily routines easy. The staff at Helios were amazing, nothing was too much bother, we had flowers and petals put on our table, chocolate messages written on plates full of cakes and they were so happy, polite and would always greet you with a smile. The restaurants cater for all tastes and are too numerous to mention. We often had to forgo starters or dessert as there were so many options we just couldn’t eat that much. There are so many interesting day/night activities to do you could never be bored. Miriam, Karla, Ashley, Gabby, Jeovany, Caesar, Gourdaloupe, Eddy, and everyone else, and especially our old friends Lucy and Alberto thank you for making our stay so special. We look forward to seeing you next year.

Quality, quiet, clean and excellent service
Hands down the best all inclusive we’ve ever stayed at (and we’ve stayed at many in Mexico). Amazing experience from start to finish.

Unforgettable experience!!!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We chose this hotel for our honeymoon, stayed 7 days and we wanted to extend! We arrived a bit late at night due to our flights coming in. Front desk was very friendly, got us champagne from the get go. They knew it was our honeymoon and the staff made sure we had an unforgettable stay. We really loved the details we had in the room for our honeymoon. We stayed at Villa 69, top floor. We wished there was an elevator, but all the food and drinking yo are doing, you will need the exercise. You get a butler per building, and they are exceptionally available to answer any question or concern you could have. I found it very useful when booking restaurants, and getting a cart to go to places, because this place is huge. Our lovely butlers were: Moses and Patricia. Moses was super helpful always giving advices were to go to eat and what time, even answering why couldn't get pozole in any of restaurants. Patricia was so sweet all the time willing to help. We'd like to mention every single lovely person that helped us and smiled to us, but couldn't get all the names. But here are some we did get: -Tentazione - Ivan amazing service and so nice every time attending our requests. -Caprichos - Guadalupe, Daniela y Luna, always greeting us with a smile and opening the doors for every single person, felt bad for that, as if we cant open ourselves ;-) . Julian, Romualdo, Ana y Flavio helped us lovely people always smiling and made us feel welcome and like at home. -La Dalia, we went to this restaurant a couple times when we missed dinner at other restaurants, just because we stayed too long by the pool. Samuel helped us with a smile and suggested some options for us. - Helios - Ashley and Guadalupe again, always making us feel like at home. Food was brought fast when we ordered from a la cart , but snacks and tacos options there were very good too. -Bar, Gaia bar - Ignacio was the one we went most of the time, since this bar is by the infinity pool and we spent a lot of time there. Ignacio was absolutely outstanding, he already knew what we drink to start with our day, he took the time every single time to suggest and make something different for me as i like to try new things, he would make something new and delicious for me and got me hooked on it for the rest of my day, never disappointed. -Painting activity for the day for the dead Angela David and Angel helped us paint flowers with glow in the dark painting, which was pretty cool souvenir to take home. -Chic Cabaret - Hector Eduardo was our server and he was so good and fast considering they have to bring your food in the dark. The food in this restaurant was right on point, delicious and so worth to go here, truly recommend this place. Also, at Chic cabaret restaurant was a server that couldn't get his name, but had blond highlight at the front of his hair, just wanted to mention him because he was the soul of the party in here, we enjoyed dancing with him and we loved to see people who actually love what they do, and he did. The food was always good, no complains at all there's always to eat if you are hungry, but please keep an open mind, do not ask for western food, for Christ sakes you are in Mexico!! If wanting to go the beach you need to take a cart to take you there, or else it will be about 30 min walk depending where your villa is. So let your butler know what the plan is and they could help you book or know when the carts are coming around, or go to the lobby, they are always coming back there. Carts are 24hrs less frequent at night of course. Loved the silent party, always enjoy this, people just enjoying their own vibes. there was always a DJ and good music. I'm Latin too, so I wish there was club because I love dancing, but I enjoyed the entertainment. We stayed the week of Halloween and dia de los Muertos, celebrations was amazing! I do have something to mention though about the travel club. As I mentioned, people is lovely, every single person we encountered. And we understand they have a job to do. But we were told by one of the TC people that we were entitled to some deals, free massage or Chic cabaret meal. we had to meet him next morning, have a tour of the other resorts and breakfast with someone else. Little did we know it was to get some travel club membership that kind works like timeshare but better (according to them) We spent 3 hrs. with him, it did sounded interesting but we were planning to make such big commitments after spending that much already in a wedding and a trip. So, beware of this travel club and show you are not interested in it from the beginning. That being said, we loved every single day being there. The staff is definitely who makes more memorable and makes you want to come back or not leave this place. So, please, to the owners of this places, TAKE CARE OF YOUR STAFF, without them this places will be nothing and nobody will want to come back. We like to travel and stay at all inclusive hotels like this, we like to take care of whoever served us and overall helped us have a nice time. So we hoped us mentioning who helped us and made our vacation unforgettable makes them grow in the company or be recognized for how much they do and how hard they work. Its not just the place, its the service, the friendliness what makes it all! We will definitely like to come back, and we know we will recommend this place to everyone!

Luxury Promises, Lacking Execution
We recently went to TRS Yucatan for a seven-day vacation. My fiancé and I don't travel often, and due to Hurricane Melissa, we moved our trip from Jamaica to TRS after hearing positive reviews from family. However, the family members who visited this place did so before Covid, and rumors regarding the decline in quality were not wrong. Pros: The food was great, with the exception of the steak. We went to El Gaucho and Helios, and at both restaurants, we were served very tough steak. However, the fish dishes and authentic Mexican cuisines were fantastic. The Chic Cabaret was by far the best food we had; the seven-course tasting menu was phenomenal! The buffet was also great; we loved the lunch buffet at Laguna the most – absolute top-tier buffet cuisine (though the rice was often undercooked). The grounds were very well kept; you couldn't find a single piece of trash. Constantly, staff were seen cleaning the signs and maintaining the property. Their dedication to the appearance was commendable – a big thumbs up to that staff! The pools were also very nice. We mostly hung out at the infinity pool, which was very clean and had a great atmosphere. The DJ was fantastic. The spa was perfection; we utilized it every day. The hydrotherapy circuit was awesome and really helped with any aches and pains, plus the deep tissue massage we had was by far the best we've ever had. The sandwiches and juice bar were also a great addition; you truly felt like you were detoxifying while staying there. Cons: We booked the Romance Bungalow Suite. The suite itself is gorgeous, featuring marble finishing, a beautiful jacuzzi tub, and outstanding outdoor canoe access with an outdoor shower. I couldn't believe how gorgeous and "romantic" this room was, but once you dig a little deeper, you can see the problems. The floor tiles were not properly grouted, so you always felt like there was sand or debris on the bottoms of your feet. We were thankful for the slippers because having to wipe our feet every time before getting in bed would have driven me mad. I thought the maid service would sweep up, but after the first night, I was proven wrong. On our first night in the room, the steamer wasn't working. When we turned on the TV, the volume button was stuck on high and couldn't be adjusted, and the power button wasn't working. We ended up having to contact our butler, who came and unplugged the TV and said he would report it to maintenance. "Oh well, it's only the first night – no big deal," we thought. However, on the second day, near the end of the evening, we noticed that the steamer had been replaced and was working, and the TV had been changed out. We were excited because we wanted to utilize room service, but when we turned on the new TV, it was black. The previous TV, despite its volume and power issues, still allowed us to use the room service feature, but now that was not an option. We contacted the butler, but it was past their operational hours. So, we tried contacting the front desk using the phone in our room. I'm not sure if it didn't work or if the recipients on the other side didn't speak English, but I was talking to nothingness – you could hear people on the other side, but it seemed like nothing was going through, or they were ignoring me. We then went to the front desk to explain our situation and ended up placing our room service order through their phone, which also disconnected while we were trying to explain our order. It took them three days to fix a TV. We were told that the IT department was supposed to come on the second day and set everything up, but I guess a lack of communication between departments was why it took three days for a resolution. On day four, we wanted to use our canoe, but when we entered our balcony, it had disappeared. Again, we had to contact our butler and explain the situation. Our room faced a bridge that was out of order, so there were maintenance staff everywhere. The only explanation would be that they used it and never returned it, which was baffling. The air conditioning unit started leaking around day five, so we had to place a towel to reduce the risk of a slip hazard. Lastly, on our sixth day, there was a pretty torrential downpour. I'm not sure if it was the gutters, but when we came back from our eight-hour excursion, we were welcomed with a flooded entrance. Thankfully, none of our belongings were sitting on the floor except the TRS slippers, because everything was absolutely soaked! Again, we had to explain the situation to our butler, who thankfully sent a service worker who squeegeed our room and reported the leaking air-conditioning unit. Butler Service: I wanted to give them more credit, but the lack of care was apparent; it felt very superficial. Regarding the TV issue, I'm not sure why they didn't monitor the situation. I hated having to continuously message them about how things were left incomplete. One night, I believe it was night three, we had a reservation for Poseidon. Earlier that day, we had a lovely conversation with another guest who recommended a different restaurant instead of Poseidon. So, we messaged the butler: "Hey, if there is another availability at Tentazione, could we switch our Poseidon reservation? If not, we are more than happy to stick with our current reservation." The butler informed us that there was an opening at 9:30, which we agreed to. However, before confirming Tentazione, they canceled our Poseidon reservation, only to then tell us that we could not eat at Tentazione that night. We ended up without any reservation. The butler also failed to remind or inform us of our complimentary lobster. We thought we could have it delivered to our room, only to find out on the last night that it must be ordered at a restaurant, even though we had just finished eating. PTC Membership Scam: If a man named Sergio offers you to cover any cost, do not believe him. We decided to upgrade to the PTC club. When we first arrived in Mexico, we were scammed by timeshare representatives who offered us a Tulum excursion for $40 USD. Sergio mentioned what they were and promised us that if we ignored them and used TRS excursions, he would have the hotel reimburse our $40. So, we agreed, as the last thing we wanted was to go through a long timeshare presentation. Sergio took our timeshare receipt, promising us it would be refunded, so we believed him. We did do the one-hour long PTC tour, but that was expected since it came with two fifty-minute free massages, which we used. The main issue was that when it was time to leave the resort, we approached Sergio and reminded him about his promise. He said he needed to talk to hotel management, which he later reported had denied the request. Sergio then decided to make us feel guilty for it, offering to pay the $40 USD out of his pocket, which we would not accept. It all felt like a scripted ploy, and we were overall very disappointed. When we requested our receipt back, he said management denied that as well. I really wanted this place to be amazing. It was our backup plan, but with everything that happened, I can't see myself coming back.
