  Francisco is the man

  Francisco was our waiter at La Boheme and El Gaucho and he was fantastic, outstanding service! He was super attentive and delightful, best dining experience we had.

  Excellent experience as a couple at TRS

  Fantastic stay at TRS Yucatan in December 2025. My partner and I chose this resort because a friend recommended it! We stayed in a suite and loved it! Such attention to detail. Food was excellent - we ate at a variety of restaurants (mostly on the TRS side but also ventured over to the family resorts for a few meals). Breakfast buffet at Helios hit the spot every time & the sit down breakfast at Capricho was fantastic. Shout out to the butler team of villa 63 - Mafer, Maykent, & Jose - for making our stay so easy and enjoyable. Also shout out to Anabel & Victor at Zentropia for the fantastic massages. I imagine we will be back to TRS in the future!

  Don’t hesitate - the absolute best all inclusive experience!

  Surprised every day by the quality of service, facilities and entertainment provided. Choice of food amazing. Butler service a joy to have available and made everything so easy for a technophobe like me. Pools and beach absolutely beautiful and so much choice if you stay at TRS. Genuinely I would ignore any petty comments. Can’t wait to go back - we were 6 adults aged 20 to 59 and everyone felt the same.

  Not luxury

  Overall, I wanted to share my honest thoughts about the resort. While I did enjoy parts of my stay and there were definitely positives, I don’t feel it was the best value for the price. Paying over $500 a night (garden view private pool suite), I was honestly expecting a much more luxurious experience than what I received. One of the biggest highlights of TRS was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. My butlers, Mafer and MayKent, were absolutely amazing; very attentive, responsive, and always on top of anything we needed. Housekeeping was also excellent, especially my housekeeper Diana, who truly went above and beyond. Once you were able to get a golf cart, transportation around the resort was usually quick, and having airport transportation included was very convenient. That said, the transportation experience overall felt pretty unorganized. When we arrived at the airport, we waited about 45 minutes before the shuttle even left. It felt like they were waiting to completely fill the van, but no one communicated that to us, instead, we were just told it would be “leaving soon.” While traffic is obviously out of their control, the total trip ended up taking nearly two hours. Check-in was another frustrating part of the experience. My partner and I waited quite a while as staff seemed focused on upselling other couples, which slowed everything down. Even though our flight arrived at 2:30 PM, we didn’t actually get to our room until around 8:30 PM. Getting around the resort could also be challenging at times, since golf carts weren’t always readily available and often had to be flagged down. Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. Many of the steaks looked gray and were tough, and room service was especially disappointing—the food often arrived late and looked old and unappetizing. Helios was my favorite spot for breakfast, Hacienda was our go-to for lunch and dinner, and Gaúcho stood out as a decent steak option, but overall the dining experience fell short. My partner was particularly disappointed with the Mexican food, as it didn’t compare at all to the authentic dishes we enjoyed on a food tour (eating with Carmen). Some of the rooms also showed noticeable wear and tear, which took away from the luxury feel. On top of that, popular activities like archery and rifle shooting were always fully booked, making it hard to take advantage of what was offered. It was also disappointing that my partner’s birthday wasn’t acknowledged at all, even though I noted it multiple times on the reservation. While I did appreciate the relaxed vibe of the resort and the kindness of the staff, I ultimately felt that for the price we paid, much more should have been included. The experience just didn’t quite match the level of luxury I was expecting, and overall it felt overpriced for what was offered.
