I actually left a day early because I had enough of the bad service and below average food and Racoons in my roof.

What can I say…? A superb trip from start to finish!! The resort itself was amazing. A great choice of restaurants, bars and other facilities. The apartment we stayed in (block 62) was a junior suite with garden view. It was immaculate and the daily room clean and turndown service was impeccable. Location was superb with great views of the ocean and the garden area were lovely and extremely well tended. The staff were all amazing! Super friendly and helpful. Special mentions to our Butlers; Maykent (Mike) and Mafer who went out of their way to make our stay as stress free as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Also a shout out to all the the staff at Helios where we ate at a lot - particular shout outs to Danielle, Martha , Ashley, Julio. Also staff at Carprichio - Alejandro, Loren and Gabriela and Manager Daniel. La Boheme restaurant- Rueben, David. All in all a really relaxed and enjoyable experience. We will be back! Thoroughly recommend this resort to others.

TRS is part of the larger Palladium complex - which is HUGE and slightly overwhelming! However the adults only corner is a haven of tranquillity. Rooms are some of the best we've stayed in, housekeeping team keep them immaculate. The Butler service is fantastic - we had Miguel, Francisco and Antonio (block 61) they were all professional, knowledgeable and so happy to help. They booked all our restaurants for us and arranged transport whenever required 10/10 for them all a real credit to the hotel. Food options are great quality, plenty and varied and the service provided is professional and swift. Special mention to Edwin at Helios for the breakfast coffee and English Breakfast tea and Gabino in Capricho for remembering how I like my margarita....in a martini glass! The only downside is the beach....no sweeping white Caribbean sand to walk along as it looks like the storms have literally swept it away! The infinity pool provides a perfect alternative and if you can find a cabana in a quiet spot over looking the sea you are in for the perfect day.

Some minor irritations
The in room safe is not secured to the cabinet. The lock on the sliding door to the deck doesn’t work. The outside light on the deck can’t be turned off at night.
