  Lush grounds, welcoming staff, great vacation

  Just got back from a wonderful week at Velas Vallarta with my husband and our two boys, ages 10 and 5. We stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom suite, which had a kitchen and living room. It was enormous and newly updated. The property, although 35 years old, is in great shape. The grounds are lush and beautiful, like a tropical jungle. The staff are all so wonderful and helpful and accommodating. Our boys really enjoyed the kids club activities each day. Food was great, though there are only 2 restaurants. Each meal featured a buffet and also a menu. The menus do rotate. A mariachi band performed nightly on the beach and on one night when it rained, they came into the beachside restaurant and serenaded each table. The only negative was that since it’s the rainy season, the water at the beach was brown. We took a day trip to Las Caletas, though, where the water was crystal clear. Definitely would return!

  Family vacation top choice in Puerto Vallarta

  Rooms were very clean, staff is very nice and responsive. Great for family! Restaurant food is above par and we enjoyed the all inclusive. Special shout out to the kids club staff, Erika, and double shout-out to our mixologist Jorge Gutierrez. He makes standard liquor take brand new heights.

  Velas Vallarta was amazing! From the moment we arrived the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was great and on point , the options are awesome. Everyone there was super friendly and knowledgeable. The resort grounds are very very well maintained and super clean. If you’re looking for a 5 ⭐️ Velas Vallarta is it !

  Unforgettable moments…

  First time to Mexico. Joined by my wife and several other friends, of course I can only speak for myself… Extraordinary! Beautiful! Beyond words! Experience! These are just a few words that I can think of to describe our stay at Vela’s Vallarta. From the first time pulling into the driveway we felt welcome. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were greeted as if we were royalty. As we entered our one bedroom villa suite we were surrounded by beauty and comfort in the spacious suite. Our dining experiences were phenomenal as there are several different restaurants to choose from. From the hostess to the waitstaff and the cooks, they made us feel as if we were home. The dining areas were clean and comfortable. The menu was extensive and paired with a buffet in two restaurants. Amazing views, inviting pools, gorgeous flowers, iguanas and even a peacock made the grounds of Vela’s perfect and appealing. Honestly there’s so much to say about our experience. Please do yourself a favor and experience Vela’s for yourself. Next year we will return with our six children ages ranging from 14-21 to share this experience of a lifetime. Thank you Vela’s and their entire staff for being amazing and making our experience unforgettable!

  Excellent Vacation time.

  We have gone to Velas for the last 10 years, excellent service from the front desk , restaurants and pool areas. Hotel is very lucky to employed very good staff. Last year I got a little sick and reached out to Cristian and he right away had someone to help me and also took me to be taken care by the hotel's doctor, they arranged to get me my meds deliver to the hotel, and kept checking with me the rest of our stay. We also love their tennis courts and they Pro (Luis) who we usually get clinics during out stay. Thank you for having a great place to relax and enjoy our vacation. Keep up the good work Team Velas.
