  Outstanding performance and service.

  We stayed two weeks at Velas Vallarta and found all the staff to be extremely friendly and proficient at their positions. However one Bartender stood above the rest. On Sunday Feb. 1st Jose Armondo Zomora was the solo pool bar Bartender. He served literally hundreds of guests. He was at a constant run and yet was always smiling, polite, and friendly. In our opinion he was the best bartender we had in our two week stay. KUDOS JOSE ZAMORA!!!

  Seamless, Beautiful Wedding Experience and 5 night stay

  My husband and I had the most beautiful, intimate 80+ person wedding at Velas Vallarta. Michele, our wedding everything (planner, coordinator, day of superstar), made everything feel and look absolutely amazing. She is incredible. From the first day we met her to the day that we were wed and beyond, Michele made your wedding dreams come true. The wedding was better than anything we could have ever imagined. A unique thing about weddings at velas, although a destination resort wedding, your wedding experience is 100% customized. I shopped around a bit, and a lot of resorts offer packaged with preset designs, but this was not one of them. This wedding was 100% curated. Moving on to the hotel itself. It is well kept and very aesthetic. The gardens, ponds filled with koi, and the bougainvilleas caught my eye and was exactly what I wanted. Not to mention their pools and access to the beach. About 90% of my guests stayed on resort and they all enjoyed themselves and the amenities. All the staff were so gracious and flexible with accommodating big friends and family groups. In general, this is a family resort, so expect to see children and older people. It didn’t change the wonderful and lovely experience we had at this resort (my husband and I are in our 30’s. If we wanted to go out we head to the Malecon). I want to do a quick shout out to the staff from our wedding, they took the best care of my guests and us at the wedding. We even saw them the next day and they congratulated us! Also to our vendors, Celtrev was incredible for AV, not an audio mess up insight. Fireworks were the icing on the cake! Styling trio for make up was insane. I had like 15 women and a girl and they were ahead of schedule and so kind and amazing. Special shout to my MUA Ricardo Luna ♥️. DWS for decode and flowers 🌺. Last but not least my video and photo team, Owlstory. Juan Carlos and his partner and team really look care of us. We can’t wait to see the photos.

  Pre Holiday great trip

  Velas Vallarta Dec 14-19, 2025 Yet another great time was had at Velas Vallarta with my husband, myself, and sister in law and husband. We each had a one-bedroom villa plus. So spacious in every way and best yet, all renovated. Just lovely but still retaining its Mexican charm. Check in was a breeze as usual. The beautiful lobby was decorated for X-Mas with the tree so beautiful, tall and every year different ornaments adorn it. The grounds as always are stunning. A gardeners delight. Feels so tropical roaming about. Lo & Behold and early surprise from Santa. All new pool side furniture! Tables, chairs & loungers. The poolside service was excellent. The restaurants’ were fantastic and service impeccable. The Sunday night, Mexican Fiesta great once again. The all female mariachi’s played to perfection, the food was amazing and the activities fun for all. The nighttime shows were very good, the ones we saw and had changed some from previous years. This resort is always the best family-oriented all-inclusive we have yet experienced in PV. We had such a great time we are already planning another repeat right before 2026 Christmas and of course a few times thru the year. Free parking, bell boys amazing and everyone with a smile. Check out was a breeze. The new highway from Chapala all the way to PV is incredible and cuts off a good 3 hours travel time. Flying or driving this resort is great. 5 start for PV by far!

  Fun relaxing and adventuring for variety.

  It was so relaxing and wonderful customer service. Everyone was so kind, respectful and made you feel pampered. My husband and loved all the resort activities but we also took advantage of venturing out and do a walking tour in downtown, seeing the Amazing Race locations since we watch that, go to Marina Marketplace, enjoy a boat ride to the Rhythm of the Night and do some Extreme Adventure featuring zip lines and ATV! Most of these activities could be found through the Velas Resort where we stayed. We plan on coming back to Mexico for sure! The sun was amazing! ☀️

  Vellas is the best ever!!

  We are very happy with our choice after following hotels for 3 months on trip advisor. Vellas trurned out to be perfect for family of 10. The rooms are large and very comfortable. We are in a one bedroom deluxe and overooks the grounds and with a view of ocean. They restock beverages daily with everything you could possibly want. Restaurants are limited but they both offerbuffet and menu which changes daily. The burgers at the stand are delicious and fish sandwich is to die for! Service around the pool is excellent--Eric was top notch and so are all of them. Restaurant by the ocean is beautiful and a server there, Eduardo is excellent. He made our stay at Vellas extra special and makes the best Mexican coffees!! We had several birthdays and boy we were not disapointed! At the same restaurant they have light guitar music, Mariachi Bands, and a magician that was excellent! Mexicn night in the convention center with a balloon maker that we all loved. Uber is easy to get and they dropped us off at the Malecon in town and visited the cathedral which is beautiful. Oh and not to forget the peacocks which stroll the grounds, the Iguanas who swim in the pool and the hawk that keeps the pesky birds away!!
