We spent a lovely relaxing two weeks at Villa del Palmar downtown before moving up to Flamingos. Alfriedo, our pool concierge treated us like royalty! Always there with towels and the offer of an umbrella. He made sure we had our daily fruit treat and our bottled water. Always serving with a gentle smile. Gina and Kaori greeted us warmly and answered all our questions patiently. They are our good friends here in Mexico! Lizabeth is amazing. She is perfect for her job! She is honest and direct with an abundance of graciousness. Looking forward to coming back in March with our family!

Fantastic
The resort is fabulous as always. It represents a family vacation and it feels like our second home. Members since 1987. Every guest are treated like royalty and the smiles are incredible on each and every employee….its a fun resort. Fun in the sun
Paco and Mar are wonderful ambassadors for the resort . The activities that they run are always fun and welcoming. Water aerobics , table tennis , black jack and the crazy games are all fun . Thank you for making us feel welcomed

Too many complaints to list them all. After we checked into our suite, twice did a bellman and supervisor come into our room telling us we were in the wrong suite. After they looked on their phone they said we were in the correct room. After we came back from dinner our room keys didn't work. The quite pool was closed. The elevators didn't always work. The requested time for maid service was never followed. The Italian restaurant for the week was only a buffet. The pool was not heated. We requested a bellmen on the last day to take our bags, and he never showed up. There is more, but I think you get the point

Great experience
We have had an excellent time at Villadel palmar so far. The staff and there are several worth mentioning. Anna, Roger, Alonda, Monse, Bianca, and Daren of the members/concierge have been very helpful whenever we had an issue. We have also enjoyed the service of bartenders Santiago and Leonardo as they huddle to get our drinks and answer our questions about where to find service.
- AdvisoryBeginning May 6th the hotel is removing the Villa del Mar section of the hotel to construct new buildings. The construction site will be closed off to minimize noise. Some locations and services of outlets may change from time to time. Scheduled completion is 2027.
