Nov 01, 2025Enjoyable Solo Getaway
I had an amazing time at Viva Heavens. I was traveling alone so it was a solo trip for me. The entire hotel staff made me feel comfortable and welcome from the moment I arrived. There was a girl at the front desk, I think from Spain?, and she was incredibly helpful and always nice. The resort itself was well maintained and had many activities. If a working out is important to you, the gym has great equipment for a good workout. The coffee shot was also great, they serve small treats and snacks, and the woman working there was always attentive and so nice. The resort is not right in the beach so keep in mind that you have to take a bit of a walk to get to it. And although it is a bit of a walk, it’s an enjoyable, beautiful walk. The beach was well maintained and had many items you could use in the ocean such as kayaks and a small catamaran you could enjoy with staff. The entertainment team was a highlight of my trip. You can tell they work incredibly hard because the shows were amazing. They were full of energy and well put together. The choreography was so fun and beautifully thought out. All shows were genuinely enjoyable to watch. A social shout out to Bairon and Henry (Speedy) from the animation team, who made my time there more enjoyable, and made every event feel lively and engaging. They brought so much personality and fun to my experience at Viva! I genuinely and highly recommend Viva Heavens to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and entertaining getaway. I can’t wait to go back!!

Great family vacation
We had a great time here. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Henry at reception was so helpful and pleasant. He helped with setting up our trip to the city. Thank you for everything! Hope to return

During our week, the did some renovation. I went there to relax and enjoy our selfes. I work in the construction and i live in an area with a lot of noise! So that being said, i heard the same kind of noise overthere! Not cool! The buffet is not that big and the food was cold! We are not going back! The place is nice, the view is just wow but….

Amazing service, great drinks, and unforgettable entertainment—special shout out to Speedy at Viva Heavens!
My stay at Viva Heavens in Puerto Plata was absolutely incredible! The service was top-notch from start to finish — every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. The entertainment team kept the energy high every day and night, and I have to give a special shoutout to Speedy — he was the life of the party! Always fun, friendly, and full of positive vibes. The drinks were also amazing — super refreshing, delicious, and made perfectly every time. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying the evening shows, the bartenders kept the good times flowing. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable getaway with great people, great drinks, and unforgettable entertainment, Viva Heavens is definitely the place to be!
