Perfect stay
Such a good week spent at the Waves Hotel. It's a perfect setting and so relaxing. Our room was in the adults only section and was updated and perfect. A/C worked great snd was very quiet. The pool in the adults only section is lovely too. The beach is smaller due to natural erosion following a storm but it's perfect, with sun beds and water sports. The sea is clear and calm and so nice to walk into from the beach. We were all inclusive snd enjoyed all our meals in both restaurants and the cafe/coffee shop. The cocktails were great too with a bar in the main hotel and then drinks were delivered to us both on the beach and by the pool. All the staff were so nice they made our stay memorable, we can't wait until we can visit again !

A holiday to remember
Sitting here on our last day in paradise wishing we could stay longer. This is one the best hotels we’ve had the pleasure to stay at. The staff are all amazing and really try their best to make you feel welcome and happy, accommodating where possible every request. The guests are all really friendly too, bringing a family vibe to the place. Plenty to do or not to do, whatever suits you. The spa treatments were fab, and a nice touch, as was the food. Special shout outs to Antoine and Kevin who were so much fun, Jamar and Shemarque for the best cocktails and banter, Ether with the yummiest omelettes on the island (and morning cooking classes) and Astrid on reception with her wonderful smile and accommodating attitude. Plus Derrick the water taxi captain with all the tunes! And everyone else in between from the cleaners, chefs and managers, too many to mention. Huge thank you for making our trip so special and memorable, helping us celebrating our freedom birthdays in style. Tip: best trips are wildlife reserve and mount gay rum.. plus if you want a fun festival filled evening, the habour lights dinner is one not to miss! Also ocean view rooms are a must.

10/10 Perfection
An absolute must if you're considering this hotel. The staff here are just superb. Its close to Bridgetown via a taxi. Nothing is to much trouble, everybody had a genuine smile on their face, super friendly and helpful. My wife is celiac and diabetic and her food needs were catered for. Change of gloves and equipment when prepping her food. Food was plentiful and delicious. There are 2 restaurants but the menu changes daily. We went on a snorkel trip via the hotel pick up was on a boat at the hotel was a great few hours and saw the turtles. The main pool is in the adults only section and there is a smaller pool which was barely used, people spend alot of time at the beach because it is perfectly blue sea and white sand. This hotel is an absolute must if you're going to Barbados you will not regret it and the staff will treat you like royalty.

Wonderful Hotel on Paradise Island.
The Waves resort & Spa hotel is in a lovely location and the view of the ocean from sunrise until sunset is breathtaking. Upon arrival our allocated room was not ready after waiting an hour we were given a room in the adult area by the pool. We were not disappointed, the room was huge and spotless, credit to housekeeping team. There are 2 restaurants Seascape which is the only option for breakfast and lunch (buffet style) and alternates between a la carte and buffet in the evenings and Dosa an Indian which is open 5 times a week. Breakfast and lunch was very good freshly prepared with lots of choices. There is also a lovely coffee bar where you can also order light bites. Got free cooking lessons from Ether every day, Valerie made sure we were well looked after. The service can be a bit slow when there is no buffet in the evening but well worth the wait. There are two bars one at the pool and the main bar both waiter service and served high quality drinks/cocktails. What made the experience at Waves extra special was the staff. Every single individual from the restaurant, bar, beach, pool, concierge, cleaners, management, spa, security. I have never encountered such genuine lovely people who made our stay extra special. A special mention must go to Tamisha, absolute star she always greeted you with a big smile and looked after us through our stay, nothing was too much trouble for her. There is a nice local supermarket up the road turn left and it’s a short walk called Jordan’s. I would also highly recommend the Reggie Reggie bus to Holetown and Bridgetown, cheap, fun and what an experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone booking a trip to Barbados. Thank you to everyone, and we hope to stay with you again!

Amazing family holiday ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We came for a week in May half term with our 2 children. We stayed in a split level room with a pool view. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. There were great activities for the kids lead by Kevin and Antwone - the painting, football and cookie decorating were very well received! We benefited from two complimentary spa treatments each over in the adult only area which again was fantastic - very quiet and calm over there too. The food was wonderful - especially the omelettes! We loved meeting the staff who were all lovely. The cocktails and service were also fantastic - really can’t recommend Waves enough! We enjoyed the beach and water-sports available. We went on the water taxi for a ride which was a lovely way to see the other hotels. We did a paid for turtle trip which was great to do through the hotel and was a really special experience - we all saw at least one turtle! We did get bitten a few times - so bring the repellent! Thank you for an unforgettable holiday.
