We had a wonderful stay at Waves resort. Our room was comfortable and well positioned overlooking the adult pool. The food was lovely with plenty of choice. We used the water taxi to visit the sister resorts, which we enjoyed but we were happy to be staying at Waves. The staff are exceptional. Hope to return soon.

Great location nice hotel lovely rooms ideal as you have use of water taxi so experience all other hotels in group whenever you like which is a bonus. The best thing about hotel are the staff, who are wonderful they cannot do enough for you and are always happy and friendly. The most disappointing thing for us was food quality bread cakes are all American so processed they use oil to cook which is not ideal, food is ok but bland not what we expected . Rooms are large and very clean no issues. A great holiday overall .

The hotel is very noisy. It is split into 2 and if you are on the side of the road, it is very noisy. The rooms are okay. Nothing special. The bathroom is basic. Water takes so long to heat up. No shower cap provided. The food is not the best. There is am Indian restaurant and if like me you have major food adversions, its annoying. The main restaurant is okay. The menu never changes. Breakfast is okay and lunch is dissapointing; small buffet. Also the hotel advertises tours. One day we wanted to do the turtle tour and it was meant to be FREE, however we were told that because it was just the 2 of us we would have to pay. This is really unfair. Especially since the next day the tour went ahead. DONT advertise the tour as free and then charge people. The beach is nice. The pool is nice. Overall it was okay . Wouldnt reccomend

Our favourite place in Barbados – we keep coming back!
We are regular guests at Waves Hotel in Barbados, and every visit reminds us why we keep returning. From the moment we arrive, we are made to feel so welcome. The staff are absolutely wonderful and, over the years, have genuinely become like family to us. Their warmth, friendliness and attention to detail make every stay feel special. The all-inclusive food and service are fantastic. There is such an extensive choice, with something for everyone, and the quality is consistently excellent. For families with children, we think it represents great value for money, making the whole holiday so much easier and more enjoyable. What really sets Waves apart for us, though, is the people. Seeing familiar faces each time we return and being greeted so warmly makes it feel like we are coming home rather than simply arriving at another hotel. We absolutely love Waves and will continue to return whenever we can. A huge thank you to the entire team for always making our stays so memorable. Much love from the Hunt family ❤️🇧🇧

Like cluster effort by employees and management
The problems I experienced during my stay at Waves Barbados were disappointing, but the way management handled my concerns was even more disappointing. I experienced a duplicate charge for the same reservation on two different cards, including an approximately $2,000 charge that remained outstanding and continued accruing interest for more than a month. There were also issues involving an airport transfer and other charges that required me to contact the hotel for clarification and correction. What concerns me most, however, is the lack of follow-through from management. I have contacted the hotel three separate times, and each time I was told that my concerns had been forwarded to the management team and that someone would contact me. To date, I have yet to hear from anyone. I was also seeking a reasonable response or compensation for the problems I experienced, but there has been no meaningful follow-up. Mistakes happen. What separates a good hotel from a poor experience is how management responds when a customer brings legitimate concerns to their attention. In my case, I felt ignored rather than valued as a guest. Based on my experience, I would encourage future guests to carefully monitor their charges and think carefully about how the hotel handles problems when they arise.
