Another great stay at Windsong
We stayed at Windsong 10/23 - 10/31. As always, the Windsong staff exceeded our expectations. A highlight of our visit was the dinner Chef Lulu and his team prepared for us on our rooftop patio. His menu was creative and perfectly prepared - he is obviously passionate about food!

Very accommodating with our issues with Hurricane Melissa. Would book with them in the future. They respond very timely.

Beautiful but Disappointed
My wife and I were just married and decided to honeymoon in Turks and Caicos. A friend recommended Windsong so we booked a weeklong stay. We were incredibly excited to spend our once in a life time honeymoon in such a beautiful place, but felt underwhelmed and honestly disappointed with the whole experience. Renovations: We knew this time of year would be slower (October 2025) and that's okay. What we didn't know was that 2/3 of the resort would be closed for renovations. I understand facilities will eventually need work and slow season would be the time to do it, but there was no communication about it until we were already there. Had we known we probably would've chosen a different resort. Thursday and Fridays morning we were woken up due to construction noises. NOT the kind of thing you'd expect at a place like this. Staff: Some of the staff was friendly; I would say most. Johnny the bartender was awesome. There were a few encounters however where staff didn't seem to care and they never once apologized for 2/3 of the resort being closed or offered anything to make up for it--a complimentary bottle of wine, a coupon to use at the spa, etc. I'm not looking for handouts, but after working in hospitality for over a decade I know you want your guests to feel welcome; especially on special occasions, such as this. Over the course of a week, only once were we greeted at the beach by a waitress to ask us if we wanted anything to drink or eat. I found this odd because you would think during a slow season it would be the opposite. I always tip at least 20% so it wouldn't have been the staff avoiding us due to not tipping. There is no Uber or Lyft so you have to call taxis to go everywhere if you don't rent a car. The concierge was helpful here and every time they got a taxi booked quickly, which was appreciated. Upon checking out I noticed there was a charge for a bottle of wine we did not consume. When I mentioned it I was told by the manager she would not be removing the charge and just walked away. I was honestly shocked. I was surprised by this treatment after every other place we had been to in Turks had the most friendly and kind people. I would suggest a different resort based on this alone. Facilities: Everyone was crammed into one corner of the resort because everything as closed. They played the same song on repeat all week. I'm not even exaggerating here. The same song on repeat all week. The beach was beautiful and our room was gorgeous. The AC worked very well and we slept like a rock when not being woken up by construction. The main pool was drained for work so they told us to use the 2 swim out pools attached to the first floor rooms patios. It felt uncomfortable swimming here and like we were intruding on the privacy of the people who booked those rooms. I feel bad for those who did book those rooms expecting a somewhat private swim out pool. Food: All the food was great. The food in Turks & Caicos was remarkable and better than we expected. Overall it looks like Windsong has the potential to be a great place to vacation, but for us it did not live up to expectations. There are so many options for tropical destinations and resorts that you should not settle for anything less than amazing, and unfortunately Windsong was not that. Save yourself a potential let down and stay somewhere else.

Windsong - Great Beach, Amazing Service
My wife and I had a great experience at the Windsong for our trip. They greated us with a refreshing beverage and towel as we arrived and then upgraded our room with a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach location is great with pools if you'd rather stay in fresh water. The service couldn't have been any better. We had an issue with our room when we arrived and they worked non-stop until it was resolved. And Garey does an amazing job of coordinating guests and answering any questions. He was friendly and patient, even when we saw he was juggling so many other things. And as we left for the airport, he found my wife's phone she left in the lobby, tracked down our cab driver, and we were able to turn around to retrieve it without missing our flight. He is the best! As for limitations of Windsong, the food is okay. There are some moderate options onsite and next door within walking distance. We ended up taking cabs to a couple other locations as there isn't too much within walking distance from the Windsong. Just make sure you have a way of calling a cab once you arrive wherever you're going.
