Nov 02, 2025A naturalist and biologist tour of Puerto Rico
I learned so much on this bike tour! Bianca led my private tour (since I was the solo registrant) and she helped me appreciate the ecosystem on the shores of Rio Mar. Whether you’re a first time visitor or frequent tourist, take time to slow down and learn about the diverse nature of the island, both delicate and resilient. Learn about the invasive plants and species and what we can all do to protect the island from erosion. Iguana Feeding with Bianca
Bianca was great during our iguana feeding experience! She was very knowledgeable about all the animals and brought plenty of food to feed the turtles and fish as well!

Joanne is about the best I’ve seen.
The hotel walkways, pools, and our room was very clean and well maintained. Lots of friendly staff to answer any questions we had. But the brightest star we found was Joanne who was a server at Roots (a restaurant at the resort). Always making sure we had what we needed and always with a smile. When we didn’t have her table, she would stop at our table to say hello and make sure we were being taken care of. She’s a hidden jewel at the hotel. She loves her job and it was easy to see that when she was there.

Client Golf Outing
Coordinating this event with the Rio Mar staff was great! Karla, Rebecca, Jeysha and all their staff were super attentive and responsive to all of our request. Facilities are great and the views of El Yunque and the golf course are spectacular. The breakfast and lunch was on point and delicious! The golf course was beautiful and our clients had an amazing time with beautiful weather! Fully recommend!

First Time and It Won’t Be the Last
We had a great experience at this resort. Everything was clean. The pools were relaxing. The breakfast buffet, and our server JP, made every morning start on the right foot.

- AdvisoryThe transformation of resort is going in 2 phases where the project includes rebuilding 400 guestrooms, ten dining outlets, a new lobby, pools, social spaces, and entertainment areas. Phase I (Spring 2025): 280 guestrooms, family pool slides, Sushi by Bou, porte cochere, casino, cabaret lounge, and racquet center upgrades. Phase II (Fall 2025): 120 guestrooms, enhanced lobbies, Marbella Restaurant, gardens, terraces, Hole In One, Roots to Go, and an entry guardhouse.
