My husband and i came to the resort on an awards trip for his company. We reallY enjoyed the hotel and all of the great pools and bars. Out favorite it the main bar inside. Jamie is a fantastic bartender! He was very attentive and made the best drinks for us. We would definitely stay at this resort in the future!

Family fun during a business trip
My kids and I joined my husband during a conference he had at the resort and we had an absolute blast. The pool was beautiful, we always found chairs and the activities for kids gave us a chance to get out of the sun for a bit at times. Joel from recreation was awesome when we went to the beach. He set us up with chairs and towels and made sure we had whatever we needed. Highly recommend this beautiful location!

Joel form recreation was great. It was my wife’s and I first time to Margaritaville Riomar. We had a wonderful time with Joel. He was so pleasant to deal with and he went out of his way to make us welcome. He gave us information and set up umbrellas over our chairs and checked on us out through the day to make sure we were comfortabl

It was my husband and I's first time to Margaritaville in Rio Mar Puerto Rico. Joel from recreation was very helpful and a joy to talk to. He went out of his way to set up chairs, table and umbrellas for us. Joel also offered to take pictures for us.

Awesome week in the rain forest!
The entire property at Wyndham Rio Mar/Margaritaville is absolutely gorgeous! The staff is awesome, the room was great, even the owner update was good! No high pressure sales this time and they kept it around 1 hour as promised. They gave us $125 off our parking fee for attending. Very close to El Yunque, the kioskos, Luquillo, etc. Also was nice to have multiple restaurants on site. We would definitely come back!
- AdvisoryThe transformation of resort is going in 2 phases where the project includes rebuilding 400 guestrooms, ten dining outlets, a new lobby, pools, social spaces, and entertainment areas. Phase I (Spring 2025): 280 guestrooms, family pool slides, Sushi by Bou, porte cochere, casino, cabaret lounge, and racquet center upgrades. Phase II (Fall 2025): 120 guestrooms, enhanced lobbies, Marbella Restaurant, gardens, terraces, Hole In One, Roots to Go, and an entry guardhouse.
