Carlos Bautista was amazing! So friendly and made us feel like home. Very knowledgeable and did a OUTSTANDING job! Resort was beautiful and we had everything we needed. Food and drinks 10/10. We will be back!

Beautiful & Relaxing
I only stayed 2 nights and wish I was there longer. Beautiful property and attentive staff. The food was delicious. The service was wonderful. It was the tropical getaway that we needed. It definitely felt higher-end, which was great considering other properties in the same price range don't look nearly as nice. I did not participate in any of the activities during the day due to being there for only 2 nights, but they have daily activities. For nightlife, there was a live band on Friday (they were great) and Saturday (they were good but the music was a bit boring and not what you expect for a Saturday night). We were told there is another bar that is more lively that is open until 2am. But this isn't really a party atmosphere, definitely more for relaxing. The ride to the beach was very short and very pretty. Do not let the ride to the beach deter you from staying here. Out of a few beach trips, there was only 1 time where there wasn't a golf cart already waiting for us and we had to wait a few minutes. Other than that, there was always a cart standing by. One issue that we encountered twice (on two different days) that I feel is worth mentioning was when they ran out of Presidente (beer). We were surprised because there were not many other guests at all, and having their main beer fully stocked seems like something that shouldn't be an issue, especially at an all-inclusive. They did quickly bring us a different beer, but we still found this to be odd. They are very much looking for feedback to make improvements. They are very receptive to suggestions, and you can tell they genuinely care. The staff seemed happy and always greeted us with a smile. The quality of the food was really good. I'm comparing that to other all-inclusives where the food is just average. We ate many things here that were so yummy I will definitely be thinking about them for a while! The hotel room has 2 toothbrushes with small toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, robes, slippers, a small fridge stocked with waters, sodas, and beer, potato chips, granola bars, and an espresso machine along with 3 different coffee pods. We did run into an issue with room service where we placed an order and they reached out and said they couldn't actually make those items, and gave us a very limited list to order from. Hopefully they are working on that. It's ok to not have a full menu, but that should be known upfront. Overall I would highly recommend staying here!

"The stay at Hotel ZEL Punta Cana was average. The facilities are nice, but Junior at the front desk was unhelpful and unfriendly. I wouldn't return just because of that poor service. The Japanese restaurant was awesome and the restaurant at the beach I love it

Awesome time at Zel Punta Cana
Mr Fish , Priscilla, Happy boy, & Jose Sommelier are all awesome I joined multiple activities and they all were great. From painting a brick & mortar to bike riding and making my own sangria! Just awesome! Highly recommend you come if you want a great all inclusive resort. Zel Punta Cana!!
