    PERFECT Stay :) Thank you.

As always, a pure pleasure going there. Zoetry is isolated and absolutely perfect for a get away. The staff was more than helpful and having a 1* star michelin restaurant inside the hotel is a pure up selling point. Well done to all involved to get this hotel to comfy. A third pure pleasure and more to come, Michal.

    Definitely NOT a 5-star experience

Zoëtry Mallorca markets itself as a 5-star hotel, but our stay was far from that. The property is old, poorly maintained, and far from clean: moldy sunbeds, dirty pool area, overgrown gardens, and a terrace that was never cleaned. Our spacious room had a bathroom from the 70s, worn furniture, and stained walls. Mid-stay, the AC broke. We reported it immediately but only got an update hours later — at 11 pm — telling us to change rooms. We moved the next morning to a smaller, lower-category room just to have working AC. Breakfast was repetitive, with minimal choice and painfully slow service (up to 40 minutes), often with wrong or missing items. Lunch and dinner menus never changed, and specials ran out quickly. Ants were in the room and around dining tables. Staff weren’t rude but seemed disengaged and overwhelmed, and basic items like shower caps had to be requested repeatedly. At best, this is a weak 4-star property with 3-star service — definitely not worth its 5-star label.

Quality hotel. A gem in a rural location.

All round an amazing stay. Family of four. Kids aged 8 & 10. 1 week stay, Aug 25. Pros: Beautiful hotel and grounds. Clean, well maintained. Quiet. Excellent food and drink (we went AI/endless privileges). No kids menu, but all staff offered choices for children at every meal. (Chips, chicken, pasta, bolognaise, salmon). Breakfast is a mixture of buffet then menu for variations on eggs/pancakes/crepes/porridge etc. all other meals are served. Choice is good for one week. Two weeks and it would have got repetitive. Wine menu for AI was also good. Cocktails delicious. Ice cream good quality. Room nice, cleaned daily. Blackout curtains. Bath, separate large shower, double sinks. Minibar restocked daily. Cava with fruit, cookies and sweets in room on arrival. Nespresso machine, hairdryer, free safe. Small outside space nice off bedroom for sitting out after dinner when kids in bed. No view. Ashtray for smoking if so desired. Pool for kids x2, very nice, loungers in sun and shade. Lifeguard 10-6. Towels plentiful. Easy to get a sunbed. Adult pool not used but looked nice with plenty of loungers. Water not too cold. Varied age range and nationalities, mixed and single sex couples. Nice clientele prob 35-70 years. Disabilities seemed to be accompanied well (wheelchair user at resort). We didn’t hire a car. It didn’t affect us. We used taxis to go to Palma, the beach at S’Arenal (too crowded for our liking) and to Santa Maria. Taxis came within 15mins. It’s just an added expense. We enjoyed the resort and knew it was isolated when booking. We didn’t use the ping pong, tennis, bikes, or the gym but I did use the running track. It’s nothing amazing, just a loop in the field but a nice touch and at 1.4km a loop was a nice run. There are veg patches and chickens to run past. I saw some rabbits in the field. Cons Some of the staff are abrupt. No doubt everyone we encountered were working hard, but they often seemed aloof, seldom any ‘genuine’ warmth or smiles. You need the app. It’s easy to use but without it your restaurant reservations were via reception. I liked it. It gave freedom but it’s essential IMO. Lots of flies. Difficult to manage in such a rural spot. Can’t walk to beach or anything, even a shop. Overall definitely stand out trip and a return a must.

Short staffed not 5 star hotel service

On arrival the members of the staff at reception provided wrong information and misleading. We arrived at around 18:00 and were told directly that dinner could be a problem because there was high demand and might be difficult to have a table booked. Then we were told that we could have the last slot at 22:00 for dinner but as we had all inclusive accommodation, we could order anything from room service for free. To our surprise we had to pay €8 for room service delivery. This is not a problem if we had been informed that the service had a charge. Every time we had to come to reception to ask for something the two male working at it (blonde hair and dark hair) were very arrogant and seemed to be pretty bothered that a customer had a need. They were slouched back in their seat looking down at customers. This is not a service you would expect from a 5 star hotel, let alone to a Hyatt partner hotel. Room service dishes were left in corridors for hour with the heat during August, brining in uninvited insects and geckos. We came back to our room at around 23:30 and checked out the following day at 12:30 and the same trays were still in the corridor. Members of the staff working around it looking and it but not cleaning them out in a timely manner. Although there were short of staff, the bar staff were always smiling and trying to help, the opposite to reception staff. I would like to highly the friendliness and approachability given but the lady that would be welcoming you to the restaurants in the evening (couldn’t get her name) and also Lisa, Juan and Sammy. All of them were working really hard and with a big smile. Although the hotel lacks of staff and it shows in their staff being overworked and tired. The ( Adult) Relax pool had no bar, and if a member of the team came to ask for drinks it could take up to 45 minutes to receive the order, again, not the service you expect on a five star hotel. As a customer that have stayed in different Hyatt hotels, this again brings the whole Hyatt firm down.

Lack of drinking water and poor service

Overall, the resort is not a five star from a service point of view. Had a couple of gripes about there not being any available drinking water. You had to pay €5 for a 250ml bottle of water each time from the bar or mini bar. Water was not part of the room service. Also the food and reception service was below par, it was almost impossible to get a dinner reservation every day onsite. One evening we could only get a reservation for 10:30pm. The reception staff are unresponsive and only refer you to use the app for everything. The food wating staff were borderline rude and kept leaving us waiting for food orders. There are only two options for food and they get tiring very fast. Overall, a beautiful location but disappointed
