    RIU palace Aruba 2025

    Wow! We just got back from a week vacation with 13 of my family member ranging in age from 10-72. We were there for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. It was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious. We were able to get into the specialty restraints no problem but also ate at the buffet and loved it. Nellie at check in was amazing and even helped with a special surprise one night at the Japanese restaurant for my parents 50th wedding dinner. On the pool deck - Pearla in the towel hut always greeted you with a smile and was so friendly! Raul and Billy the waiters around the pool area always made sure our cups were full! Duarte the goat who was the security guard was always by the entrance and making sure all were safe in the pool. Give him a fist bump and you will see why they call him the goat! And lastly Gillian - he was so energetic and full of enthusiasm all day - every day entertaining us on the pool deck and on the RIU stage. This was our second time there and it won’t be our last!

    Best Family Trip!

    It was the best Trip our of our last 10 trips to various Countries and Family Resorts. It was clean, the rooms were sufficient for the little time we spent in the rooms, the bathrooms, very clean, the view of the pool and ocean were delightful, the service was top notch, the buffet fabulous, clean, friendly service and beautiful. All other restaurants we ate at while there were great. It was so safe and our 14 kids found their way around without any trouble. For the 1st time ever, we left the Resort and walked to town which was so fun! We will surely be back! Thank you so much.

    Very good stay

    Overall the stay was very good. The only area of improvement would be the cleanliness of the room and having more bottled water available for conjoined rooms. The food was impeccable. Customer service was outstanding.

    Disappointing Stay - Not Worth The Price 1 Star

    We stayed at the Riu Palace Aruba in mid-July and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The building is noticeably dated, and the rooms had a strong musty smell with worn-out furniture. The main building had only two small elevators, both hot and poorly ventilated. The pool was in rough shape—our kids found broken tiles at the bottom almost every day. One of the buildings was under renovation, and construction noise started early in the morning, even around the pool area. Drinks were made with the cheapest alcohol and mixers, and the restaurants offered very limited, underwhelming options. The buffet had more variety but still felt average at best. There were only two ATMs, both on the adult-only side. One (in the casino) wasn’t working and the other ran out of U.S. dollars for several days. On a positive note, the location is excellent, and the pool and activity staff were friendly and energetic. Still, for the price, we expected far better quality and comfort. Would not return.
